This sandy expanse has all the hall marks of an Italian beach but somehow seems uncluttered and tranquil even on sunny days. Maybe because the beach it is so big it’s hard to fill up. This is all just an hour’s drive from Grays across the river down on the Sussex coast, it can feel like a travail getting to but it is worth it when you arrive. The Children will love it as well as it is backed up by sand dunes for them to run through and explore and the waters are crystal clear so very inviting for a swim.
