This strange little Palace has the feeling of an old hotel, the reception room could have almost have been used in the Film "The Shinning" but the house is far from creepy and old.
Its only 30 mins drive from Grays town center, and from both a historic and estetic point of view is well worth visiting. Intersting facts, it was the childhood home of Henry VIII and houses a Gold plated bathroom.
