Are you up for a challenge and interested in the future development of young people in Thurrock?

The Prevention and Support Service supports young people who live in Thurrock, are looking to recruit two enthusiastic people to join our team as an Apprentice Youth Workers. Work as part of a team, working in different venues and areas across Thurrock.

To support youth work delivery with and for young people living in our local communities the role will include supervised working with young people, to facilitate their personal, social and educational development, and enable them to gain a voice, influence and place in society in a period of their transition from dependence to independence.

You will be required to study towards and achieve a full Apprenticeship in Youth Work (NVQ Level 2) or level 3 depending on prior experience. If you have a qualification at a higher level than this, you may be required to meet the cost of the framework.
