Thurrock Council’s Children Looked After Service is looking for a Family Support Worker to join the Service working across CLA and Adoption teams.

In this role you will work with children, birth families, adopters, foster carers and agencies in order to create life story books for children.

You will be visiting placements and families and undertaking direct work with children in completing this life story work so they can better understand their journey through adoption.

You will be working closely with the CLA and Adoption teams in completing this work.

You will need good experience of working with children, an understanding of the journey of Looked after Children, to be mobile in order to visit placements where required both in and outside of Thurrock and have good organisation and communication skills.
