Description

You will be a member of a small team interviewing and dealing with members of the general public who are threatened with homelessness. You will carry out casework and offer advice and assistance on a range of housing options to prevent homelessness. You will need to liaise with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies and be able to complete detailed casework and be experienced in making homeless decisions.

A good knowledge of homeless legislation and landlord and tenant law is essential. You must have at least one year’s experience of providing advice on housing related issues and face to face interviewing of members of the general public.
