Our vision at Thurrock Adult Community College is to provide adult education where people have opportunity to learn, grow and shape their future.

To ensure we achieve our goals we are looking for highly motivated tutors to teach across all levels to help us increase and develop a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of the people of Thurrock and enables them to achieve their life and career ambitions enabling them to take advantage of all the opportunities that are available to them.

You should be learner focused in your approach, demonstrate enthusiasm and passion in your subject and welcome the opportunity to contribute to the College mission, which is to make a positive difference to local people and their communities.

Our focus at present is to recruit tutors who can teach the following:-

Maths – English – ESOL

Starting salary £21.99 per hour

Please note that you should have a full teaching qualification and a level 5 subject specialism (or the equivalent).

Tutors needed for immediate start and September start. Evening and/or daytime availability considered. Weekdays only. Ability to teach any of these levels considered; Pre-Entry to GCSE (Maths and English) and Pre-Entry to Level 2 (ESOL).
