The History: Since the early 1990s the two sides have met regularly and all the games have been in the Ryman (Isthmian) Premier League. The K's have won 8 of these matches, The Blues have won 3 and the remaining 5 have ended in draws. Last season the sides met on "Non League Day" at Kingsmeadow and despite taking an early lead through Chuck Duru, Grays ended up on the receiving end of the Andre McCollin show. He scored all 4 goals as Kingstonian eased to a 4-1 victory.

In the return at Mill Field, Grays held K's to a goalless draw as they eased their relegation fears during April last year.

The Form: Looking at the recent stats you would be forgiven for thinking that Grays are going to find this game hard going. They have lost their last 4 in the league while Kingstonian have not lost in their last 6 league games, although 4 of these have been draws. Both teams had their last game washed out by the weather and maybe that could work in Grays favour as caretaker boss, Mark Bentley, can regroup his small squad and get some players back to full fitness for this game at Mill Field where Grays have enjoyed playing on the most part this season.

The players to watch: Grays top scorer Freddie Lapado will be looking to impress in what could be his last home game for The Blues as his loan spell is due to end next week. His strike partner Dumebi Dumaka could come into the game fresh after last weekends postponement.

Kingstonian can boast an international striker in their ranks. 34 year old Elvis Hammond was born in Accra, and received a cap for Ghana against Mexico in a friendly just before the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

He can boast Fulham, Norwich and Leicester amongst others as his former clubs. Midfielder Pelayo Pico Gomez has also chipped in with 10 goals this season and could be somebody the Grays defenceneed to keep an eye on.
