Ingredients:
- good quality burgers
- burger buns
- onion
- fresh lettuce
- cheddar cheese (optional)
Method:
The trick to this is all in the quality of the burger meat - so go for a lean and higher price fresh meat burger. Otherwise no matter what you do to it it will be drab.
Fry your burger on a medium/high heat on a non –stick frying pan (so no need to use oil)
No need to season just fry it but turn the meat regularly so not to burn any one side. (once every min is enough)
After four or five flips pierce the meet and if juice coming out is is brown then it’s done, if red give it 2 more mins
Tip! Toast the Bun in a toaster. Most Pubs never seem to do this but the best ones do. it’s so much better for taste and texture.
Tip 2. Have a good fresh salad ready with fresh cut onion.
If you want to try something more exotic than ketchup or may inside . . try mango chutney ! surprisingly good and different.
