Lyn Carpenter, Chief Executive of Thurrock Council, said: "Steve Cox has been at Thurrock Council since November 2011. In that time, as Assistant Chief Executive and latterly as Corporate Director of Place, Steve has led the regeneration agenda contributing significantly to shaping the borough’s future including through the Your Place, Your Voice engagement events, moving the Local Plan process forward, progressing Purfleet regeneration, supporting High House Production Park, securing the Council’s largest ever capital project to widen the A13 and many, many more.
"The contribution Steve has made over the years can be seen in so many areas of the borough. On behalf of the council, I offer our collective thanks for his leadership and commitment to delivering the significant agenda here.
